About Kitchen Daemon

Kitchen Daemon provides a cloud-based recipe manager allowing “anywhere” access to your recipe collection. (Actually, the only recipe collection available at this time is mine.)

The motivation for Kitchen Daemon was the desire to access recipes from anywhere they are needed … a laptop in your office when planning a dinner, a tablet in the kitchen displaying the recipe, a smart phone in the farmer’s market or the supermarket. Additionally there was the desire to easily add new recipes discovered online.

• Cloud based recipe manager available anywhere
• App-like performance for tablets and smart phones providing recipe presentation more suitable for cooking the recipe or for use in a shopping environment
• Event/Menu manager allowing the easy creation of an event and a shopping list for the menu. It also keeps a record of each event and what was served
• Shopping List. Can be created or added to from an event or a menu or from miscellaneous items
• An email address (recipes@wsgarvey.com) to send internet recipes to. Kitchen Daemon will attempt to parse the email into an internal recipe format and add it to the database. If it cannot be successfully parsed, a link to the recipe will be added.

The recipe format contains all the information you would expect except nutritional info.
